Model Spotlight: Anya Brill

I had the opportunity to meet and speak with the lovely and charming Anya Brill at Touch of Sass’s Doo-Wop Fashion Bash on Wednesday.  Standing 5’11”, this graceful and poised Austin Fashion Week newcomer is only 17 years old.  Yes, you heard me right - 17! 

Raised in Georgetown, where she is still only a junior at Grace Academy, Brill got her start after she heard about a back-to-school fashion show on Kiss FM when she was 13.  After doing the runway show, Brill told her mother modeling was the career path she wanted to pursue.  She currently does all her own booking through her Model Mayhem account, and at this year’s Austin Fashion Awards, she was part of the mash-up team, Bad to the Bone.  She has also garnered nominations for both Best Model - People’s Choice and Best Model - Industry Choice.  I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what comes out next from this talented young beauty!
